Any recommendations for a good baby carrier that won't leave me with back pains. I need for baby and toddler.
You want something with lumbar support..

It's a bit pricey, but look into this (or something similar). The one I linked holds up to 45lbs.
Quote
Includes the signature Lumbar Support, Neck Support, Sleeping Hood, 2-way Shoulder Straps, and zippered Pocket. Lightweight, compact, and machine washable.
ERGONOMIC for MAXIMUM COMFORT: the wide and sturdy waist belt, 3" wide padded shoulder straps, lumbar support, and thoughtful design alleviate pressure on wearer's back and shoulders and evenly distribute baby's weight.

My wife swears by the baby bjorn.  We got one as a gift and then I find 2 in goodwill so she can have one everywhere.
My wife has changed for opinion.  She is now a wrapper.  Some of these wraps are are a real fortune and there is a bit of learning curve (she watched YouTube tutorials and then practiced a bunch) but she claims they are much more supportive than anything else.
If you are interested I could ask her for more info a links.

For an infant- I loved my Baby Ktan. Comfort of a wrap, but no wrapping necessary.

For a toddler I'm still figuring it out. I have the Beco Gemini but don't love it.

Can anyone recommend which ergobaby to go with? I'm seeing the "original" at around 60,the 360 breathable at around 60 as well and, the regular 360 at around 80, not sure what differences are though

I picked this up a few years ago on clearance and I am really happy with it.

I will ask her today to write something and then post it.
This is what she wrote
"My hands-down favorite carrier for all ages is a wrap strap mei tai. I feel it offers the best of both worlds - ease of wrapping and excellent support. For bigger babies, I love to wrap them on my back!

Which carrier will work best for you will depend a lot on your needs (and budget). If you get in touch with me directly, I'd be happy to help you!"
If you pm me I will send you her email address.

What motivated my wife in the first place to wrap was that she figured that if the baby is kvetchy and needing to be held she can't make supper, wash the dishes etc.  if she can have the baby safely out of the way happy on her back then she will be able to do all those things.

I've never tried one but there is a learning curve so you need to practice using before you need it so when the need arises you will know what you are doing and be able to do it relatively quickly.

I used to be pretty yeshivish but I live oot now so I'm not as much anymore.  I have heard relatives comment that where they live they could never wear these wraps outside.  I don't know how prevalent that feeling is but it may be worth considering.

I'm looking for a baby Carrier to be used with a 16 month old baby,  basically for some traveling and around the house as he demands to be held...

Can anyone make a recommendation?

For older kids, you need something ergonomic that won't break your back. Those are usually pricey. Tula makes a great toddler carrier, but $$$.
