Legit Rental Car Charge?
« on: March 06, 2020, 01:25:41 PM »
Rented car (non USA) and was wondering if these charges are legit?

Rented for 3 days (doesn't mentioned any grace period)
Brought the car back an hour late (airport return held me up for almost 30 min, trying to shake me down for some extra cash)

(Car rate is broken down daily $30 for car + $45 mandatory insurance for $75 Daily)
Got charged additional;
Extra hour rate of $5 (legit)
$45 for insurance cause it goes by daily
$15  Toll Pass (ez-pass) as its a daily flat rate

Does that make sense the $60 extra because I had it for 1 hour extra?

not making sense, and not legit, are totally different.
It can be legit and not make any sense.

Is it something I can dispute or prob wasting my time?

(If legit, then so be it, regardless if it makes sense)

I would call rental location, and have a reasonable manager remove it, before filing a dispute.
