I think length of time as a DDF member should also be a factor, in addition to post count.

huh? why not? the person who says +1 gets a post but the original comment should deserve extra credit towards elite status because it was a good comment...

1st of all you for sure just gave Am an ego boost for commenting on this thread. 2nd Indeed there should be -1 although beware of the effects of cyber bullying http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suicide_of_Megan_Meier. 3rd all of this is only in theory I wasn't thinking how it would work practically.

Anyone here should be able to anonymously +1/-1 a post, that shouldn't result in bullying, unless someone really deserves it (as indicated by everyone else's ranking of their posts).
