Hotel no but restrooms I can take simple precautions. It would be to visit family. Would normally fly but I don't mind driving.

Italy is still going pretty good and they are on total lock down. With everyone not traveling I would think gas would not have a shortage. No decision made yet.

It's definitely harder for people to stock up on gasoline. So as long as production continues as regular, we shouldn't expect a  real shortage. Most shortages happen when there's a production issue (natural disasters, terrorism, embargo's, etc.) or supply chain issues (natural disasters)

not really. Most people can only fill up a tank or two of gas. It may cause a very brief shortage if everyone does it at the same time but if their not traveling much, it their not filling up again for a while. It simply a matter of logistics that most people can't store gas but can store toilet paper.
