Another positive. I have three older brothers. We talk to each other a regular basis. We now talk every day just to see if everyone is ok or needs something.

On the plane I was wiping down the table, armrest etc with Clorox wipes and the person next to me asked if they could have 1 wipe. It's these small things that will get us through this, both for the people receiving and for those giving.

No matter what the gesture is they all make a difference for the better.

I was reflecting that every holiday is meant to be preceded by the "shloshim yom kodem hachag" to learn the relevant halachos and make preparations. One silver lining in all of this is that I am spending a lot more time with my kids. Isn't that was Pesach is all about: vehigadeta levincha.  Choose that as your pesach "chumra" this year.

I have between ages 1.5-9.5 and we're making a project out of it with prizes. It's actually working.
Obviously the heavy cleaning my wife and I do but at the end of this week all that's left is the kitchen, living room and dining room.

Panic relief can lead to motivated consumers, workers, business owners etc.

There's is no doubt that a bright future is ahead of us. But there's also a lot of pain on the way there. Hopefully this ends up being the great reset out of which we can grow stronger and healthier (physically and financially).

A bedrock of capitalism is that the economy isn't a zero sum game.

A contraction in economic activity makes for wealth destruction, just like economic growth creates wealth.

It a multiplier effect. The actual dollar amount not spent is much smaller.
