If COVID was really your concern, you (KH) would be talking about what we could/should be doing now, seeing as people are dying daily and if we thought you had the solutions we wouldn’t want to wait “a few months”. Only that the truth is you don’t have any magical solutions and all you’re doing is making a political statement and stepping on hundreds of thousands of dead bodies in an attempt to raise yourself higher.

It’s strictly hypothetical, but I think the handling of this pandemic goes beyond Trump/Biden/Clinton (had she been elected in 2016) or anyone else in the presidential role. I think it’s likely we’d be at hundreds of thousands of deaths at this point regardless of whom our president was/is (or the realistic options involved).

ETA: To say it differently, IMHO we have a dearth of leadership on both sides of the aisle in this country, and politicizing COVID by either side has contributed more to COVID deaths than any one party occupying the White House.

Was this/would this have been their stance had there been a D in the White House? Things might very well have been flipped for all you know. Also, can the WH really do anything to mandate/enforce mask wearing nationwide?

We can only hope that he (and others like him) end up fading out like the last politician to publicly admit the agenda of “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.
