It's easy to believe Covid isn't as dangerous as it's made out to be, they're also convinced the vaccine is highly dangerous. So they don't see the perils, and are motivated to push their FUD by a combination of a genuine desire to help people/fix the world, attention seeking, and a primal urge to feel understood and thus fit in, which is #1 on the Maslow pyramid of human needs (you'll see them here clamoring for legitimacy on pretense of liberal debate values they don't even believe in).
