actually you insisted the wave last year was because of the predicted fall wave not a random wave as I was suggesting - you agreed with this guy that spikes happen in the fall..

Again... um, what? You know that summer and fall are 2 different seasons, right? A fall wave last year wasn't random. It followed the pattern of previous pandemics. Summer spikes happened last year, as well. Me calling a season by its name isn't flip flopping. (Not that I have an issue with changing my opinion. It's evolved throughout this pandemic, right along with most people.)
I did listen to his claims. He said that respiratory infections don't happen in the summer, and the fact they they are happening now MUST be attributed to the vaccines. I said that claim was false, as evidenced by infections we saw last summer, before there were vaccines. If you (or him) want to claim vaccines are causing the spike, you need more than "infections don't happen in the summer" as proof, since that's just not true.
