What does the legal standard have to do with the Mayor calling out dangerous behaviors? He's allowed to. If, summons' were issued, and I doubt they were, then maybe you have a claim of selective enforcement. If he didnt call out any other group its because we are visible and he's tone deaf. We still have a chiyuv of venishmartem. His calling it out has nothing to do with us!!!

What would the answer to that be had he singled out blacks or Hispanics? There is no need to single out any group and to do so is wrong. Just say that they will issue summons for gatherings and finished.

Good now tell me why he singled US out? BECAUSE WE ARE VISIBLE. I am not condoning his tone deaf statements. But if you cannot hear WHY he said them and WHY they are pointing fingers at US...it is because we are visible. The day of the zhid keeping a low profile is over. We feel we have arrived and are entitled to it all. Where is your Galus prospective on this? No we are not entitled to make levayas because the goyim were in the park today. STOP WITH THIS FEELING OF ENTITLEMENT!!! We are Jews in Galus and we need a little perspective on our duty to act respectfully irrespective of what they did in the park today.
