Superspreader events are not a theory, they’re proven. The theories are only about why.
I was thinking of writing superspreader events, ended up going with "superspreaders". The facts are the events, it's arguable that the theory for these superspreader events (events with mass spread in a short while) can be attributed to a single superspreader (individual). There could theoretically be other (less plausible?) explanations for the mass spread, other than attributing it to a single individual who is for some heretofore-inexplicable reason mass-shedding.
