So in a small, controlled environment, such as the Technion (where this sign was posted) or להבדיל 770, why wouldn't it be prudent to issue immunity bracelets?

Aside what Aygart mentioned, that may have been useful back in March, but now that immunity may wear out soon, wearing a bracelet will not instill much confidence.

3. Community. 
The unmasked person in a store presumably won't get sick, and won't infect others.  But I'm outside, and have no way to know what's going on in the bloodstream of the unmasked person.  So I decide not to enter the store.  So, indirectly, the unmasked person is bad for business.

Just saying, I'm one that finds it VERY, no EXTREMELY uncomfortable to wear one (Sorry to those that can't relate, I don't believe I'm being petty, I really find it hard to breathe normal with it on)

Wow! I was about to post that I was one of those who had thunk that.  Pleased to hear @Eb228 heard the message! 

As for me, I haven't been in a store since March, and had begun to wonder if they're really still out there.  Anyone know how small businesses in the community have been doing?

I am guessing you have some colors confused in that sentence, but why not just have everyone wear a mask properly? If it is that important to not have full enforcement that they should make this whole system then how does that change the incentivisation issue?

I think you might be missing my point.

There's a huge amount of distrust (rightfully so IMHO) of the authorities. What I'm suggesting is kind of reverse psychology. Since we know that the main function of masks is in preventing the infection of others, those that are most unlikely to infect others or get infected need enforcement, as their own logic is likely to sway them towards distrust of a uniform rule. Whereas those that are at higher risk of contracting and possibly spreading the virus should be given the personal responsibility and choice of how they want to act.

If you're a person at risk, I applaud you taking responsibility for your own health.
Each person must do what is appropriate for himself and his risk tolerance.


Communally, we should all have common courtesy and ahavas yisroel.
But not wearing a mask doesn't make you a rasha, nor is it evidence that you care only about yourself.
