Why would you hear about someone vaccinated who didn't get covid?

Who hasn't been exposed to covid at this point? For every person (vaccinated or not) that got covid without even knowing what their exposure was, there could be 100 people with the same exposure who didn't get it. Perhaps because of being vaccinated or because exposure doesn't mean infection, and never has. Of course, if a vaccinated person is exposed and doesn't get covid, it won't be considered
