Mississippi in last 4 weeks had 20k new cases and 136 deaths, or about 0.6% mortality rate, which translates to about .06% if Biden gave access to monoclonal antibodies.
“If Biden gave access”, you make it sound like he’s withholding available supply. As chief executive he should have done more, I agree, but it’s not like he’s intentionally strangling them for political reasons.
As for your math, deaths lag. Unfortunately sometimes people are hospitalized for months before passing. So of the 136 deaths, how many tested positive before the last 4 weeks? There are unfortunately still some of those 20k that are at risk of dying. Basically, it’s too soon to give an exact number.
Let’s say we did have an exact number of 136, how many of those are above 65? Say 50 are of those, let’s say 45 are unvaccinated. How many of the 20k positives are above 65? Say 20%, or 4000. Of those, say 2200 are unvaccinated, that gets you to over 2%. If any of my numbers are wrong, and as illustrated in my previous paragraph, the 136 number is too low, then 10% might be plausible, especially if the hospitals in question are overrun and standards of care are suboptimal.
The real question I have is, what does “and counting” mean? Why would the percentages rise?
