We have a reservation booked for next weekend in Miami. Now that things look uncertain we’re in dilemma if we should cancel or not. Would appreciate any thoughtful input.

I’ve had this concern before and always reasoned that you could do a one-way rental if you actually get stuck.

bec it seems matters are changing daily. you never know when/if a country will decide at a moments notice to not let people in or out.

plus theres the issue of being around so many people from different parts of the world were the likely hood of infection can increase?

I would def cancel unless there's a real pressing reason to go. Hopefully this will all be behind us soon and then we can resume normal leisure travel once again

If i have a trp booked May 2-9 to the Maldives - via london - and then back via hong kong - is it worth just to cancel now? Or would you guys wait it out since its almost 2 months away? Argh - this is the worst time for leisure travel.

The other problem is I booked with Ethiad via AA miles. I wonder if that gets refunded or what they would do

Poland prohibited mass gatherings. 18 infected, 2 in serious condition.

I am in the same dilemma. Supposed to go in a week and half. Not sure I will anymore.

I am not sure what the definition of mass gathering is in Poland.
I would postpone all non-essential travel anywhere. It's ok to hunker down for a while. my 2 cents.
