I heard something like he was on a  vent for 5 weeks I dunno.

It tells you that there are people here that had it in assuming the people who still have it and assuming that it's still being spread.

Probably in a much lower scale. But Just because things are quiet does not mean that they won't get loud.

But it'll just take one super-spreader event to take down an entire community.

Fascinating, and helps explain why some people don’t infect even close family members. I’ve seen this theory before but never so clearly.

Wouldn’t we then need a much higher threshold for herd immunity if certain people are way more infectious? Asking out of ignorance

The reality that in BP-Willy-KJ-Monsey that were open more or less for weeks already and no uptick in cases needs to be explained. And perhaps is anecdotal evidence that you’re fears are dumbfounded.

From what it seems it can take much more than 3 weeks to really start showing.

What’s his source? I haven’t seen on any Jewish news sites about an uptick. Additionally BH our own DDF Tehillim board has been quite dormant Bh. But even if it’s true how are you gonna explain Willy? Monsey? KJ?

The guy in the choir had symptoms for a few days but thought it was a cold. The lawyer in New Rochelle who was a big early source of spread in NY was running around with symptoms for weeks (he had been to doctors and they couldn't figure out what it was)
every shul is saying if you have symptoms don't come. It is likely someone without symptoms is not going to be a superspreader

Heard directly from a Hatzalah member (it’s a her btw). I haven’t heard DPs from either of them. Have you? It always starts with a small number of cases, which slowly but steadily grows.. of course we are hoping that’s not the case but where is your confidence that it is coming from?

The tehillim list was very short for a long time before Purim. Does that mean it wasn’t spreading fast?
