When someone says something objectionable, does that ipso facto render everything he said incorrect?

It does seem like corona doesn’t exist in Orlando somehow.

Besides this shabbos going to shul and left in middle...
If i may ask , what else do you do the rest of the week? Do you go to work? Shopping? Errands? Staying at home full time ?
Just curious
I haven't seen social distancing neither in Manhattan stores or in bank  when i was there,
walmart or target upstate when i went neither
And masks were so so , NYC masks wearing is very off either in Brooklyn or Manhattan

So i don't see why the fuss to overrate it when it comes to daven to hashem , hahsem sent the מגיפה and took away the מגיפה, time to get back to normal especially davening like a yid.

Btw i am Orlando Florida so minyan was in a house squeezed together about 70 people including kids with a big kiddush after davening , there was no one with masks since in Florida you don't need to wear them

Thank you for your opinion, now please go peddle your stupidity in the 150 or so other threads that already exist for that purpose.

@Everyone else - this thread is to discuss how your shul was this past Shabbos, not to argue with a troll about how the mageifa is not, in fact, over. Let's keep to that topic please.

@Yehuda57 we need a thread for top 10 signs you don't daven in a Chabad shul.
In no particular order here are a few.

1. The Kiddush was actually planned out VS whatever is in the kitchen cupboard.

2. The people that pay are the ones with set seats VS the only people that have set seats are the mags.

3. The minyan starts at the time it was supposed to.

4. The Rav is just the Rav VS also being the Baal koreh, chazan, janitor, doorman, gabbai, and whatever else comes up.

5. The security guard knows every member and won't let you in if you are not pre cleared.

6. The cholent is actually identifiable which ingredients it has.

7. There is a specific person who corrects the Baal koreh if he makes a mistake VS the entire shul correcting him.

8. All the siddurim match and are the same type.

9. They don't daven nusach Ari .

10. People actually know where the chazan is up to and what part of davening we're at.
120 characters? Hmm, I wonder what I could write with 64 characters. Boy, it's gonna be hard to use up 15 characters. W-

I'll be the first to break the ice I guess...

In BP most shulls were open, packed with no social distancing what's so ever.

Corona is a thing of the past. Not a single new case in weeks... (the official new cases being released is probably people retesting)

Hospitalizations rate (which is the only accurate indicator) of suspected covid cases in New York City is about 20 a day.

I passed by munkatch which was packed and a police car was in front of the shull doing nothing..

After hearing from a friend on Shabbos that Williamsburg Mikvaos are open, I took a quick drive to WB to go to the mikvah. What a breath of fresh air. Mikvah and shul are fully functioning.

את חטאי אני מזכיר, on the way back I had the radio on tuned to Bloomberg. There were two interesting and worthy points I heard there.

The first was that chief justice Roberts was telling a graduating class that they are the first to graduate under such conditions since the class of 1942 that went straight from graduation into the frontlines or to factory work, and that this is "the world's way of telling us that we don't understand and can't control everything" (not sure if he was being PC or if he simply doesn't know what's printed on every dollar bill and what the pledge of allegiance says.

The second was an interview with Lloyd Blankfein. Amongst the points he made was that we can't shut down and leave people on welfare forever, at some point people will go back to life and work, and there will be a second outbreak. He was questioning if it is right at this point to just delay it, which is all it is doing. He acknowledged that there has been a lot learned as far as treatment modalities since the initial outbreak, but that until there is a safe reliable vaccine, which isn't likely to happen in short order, we just have to acknowledge the fact that we can't continue the lock down indefinitely, and that there will be a second outbreak. He asked to what extent does it make sense to delay the inevitable.

Can we just use this post as an example when anyone questions the need for restrictions moving forward?

So when people question the need for restrictions, maybe we can just quote Lloyd Blankfein.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Definitely cleaner than the one I went to in Crown Heights on Shabbos (after not going to that one in years). But not only by that measure. It was a well run beautiful mikvah (corner of Bedford & Myrtle). I am far from an איסטניס when it comes to Mikvah, but I think the one I went to in Williamsburg would be suitable even for my איסטניס neighbor.

I don’t want to hijack this thread but if you are saying as a Frum Yid that we should all return to life with zero restrictions moving forward based on what he said than you have changed the opinion I have had of you until now

And here we go off topic again. Let's try not to. But I'll reply that you haven't been to Williamsburg mikvahs in a while. They probably have the nicest mikvahs worldwide.

Most new mikvehs being built there are nicer than most ladies mikvahs out there.

Pretty much full shul and a nice kiddush, not gonna say where! People are soo freakin fedup already

“Tatty, can you tell me a story?”

“Sure! My neighbor’s father locked himself in his house for 3 weeks before Purim. His kids and wife got “fed up”, so on Purim, he came to his son’s house for the seuda (staying a few feet away from everyone, of course). He died. Now my neighbor needs to keep his outdoor minyan going because there are too many chiyuvim in Shul and he needs to daven for the Amud. The end.”
