It is not my "responsibility," nor am I calling anyone a rodef. But to sit by quietly while lives are being put in danger is not the way, either.

These are not my personal feelings. They are the medical consensus here, and around the world. I will stay home if I feel the risks warrant it, but the risks shouldn't be there to begin with. If a rov is advising people to disregard the universal medical advice, then they should be giving the basis in halacha for such guidance. I have yet to see anyone publish anything that explains it.

Not sure if this was mentioned - Corona+ minyan is a bad idea when you take into account that many will not yet have an effective antibody response. Further exposure and getting infected with a higher viral load can lead to much worse outcomes.

I was curious about this. If severity of covid depends on viral load, while someone is already fighting covid are they at further risk if exposed to another person who has covid?

My laymen's guess is no; but I have no idea. And if the answer is no, then covid people should be indoors, and non-covid outdoors...Why is everyone doing it the other way?

If the answer is yes, then this type minyan probably shouldn't exist, even outdoors.

I asked this question to two doctors in Lakewood and they both did not have a problem with a positive hanging out with a positive. (Question was not for a large scale minyan. It was regarding my daughter hanging out in my backyard with her friend).

2 people hanging out in a backyard is a different question than 80 people hanging out for hours in a tent. I'm not saying the answer would be different, but they are very different scenarios.

Their kashrus division is the crc in the oval, the chasidish one, as apposed to the one in the triangle which is the Chicago one. That is what they are known for, but apparently they are actually a Hisachdus HaRabanim and it's not just part of the name.

Office is in Williamsburg but Rabbonim from greater NY and Montreal. One head lives in BP-Rav Bick-, and the head of Kashrus devision lives in Mount Kisco -R' Hillel Weinberger. I believe it was founded by Satmar Rav, perhaps Kapisher Rav was a leading Halachic influencer.
