This?

I don't remember very clearly, if I'm not mistaken someone from my shiur was the one who called up the news tip line. In hindsight I guess it wasn't the best move.
The guys who were suspected of hanging it up didn't get in trouble but got a good shmues for that. They had to take it down shortly afterwards.
Why would he call it in ?

Bald cap and an IV tube into the arm. You can give out Chemotashin.

Want Nazi themed ideas as well?
You're quite creative.

That's not cancer. That might be a cancer patient costume. Not cancer.

I don't think OP was referring to a COVID-19 patient.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

I disagree. What’s your problem?
No, silly! People won't know if you are dressed up or if you are just afraid of catching the virus...

"Corona-virus related"
Which isn't a patient. Dressing up like a a patient would also involve tubes and respirators. I think he just meant dressing up like someone who is taking the corona virus seriously (masks, gloves, etc). I don't see anything wrong with that.

Let me guess: you're walking around with a closed room around you to maintain self quarantine.

Who remembers when a guy on this forum wanted to know if he can eat from a Chinese restaurant?

Turns out, this was the most common costume.

Were you wrong about your costume?

As a costume? No. Even though in March I presented symptoms that were then considered "presumed covid", I am fairly certain I have not contracted covid, B"H.
