This, so much this. In the last 6 months, my kids have dealt with their grandfather who they would normally see and interact with multiple times a week being diagnosed and treated for leukemia, a fire which had us move out of our house and into a rental house for 4 months and them move back in (to only 2 of 3 floors finished - less space to work with) right before Pesach, and of course coronavirus and homeschooling - most of that simultaneously. I'd love to say they were perfect angels throughout, but while that may not be the case, the fact that they've rolled with the punches and not fallen apart completely is amazing. Always nice to be reminded of these things.
