Here's the issue.

Usually, if you drive far enough, you can avoid the huge crowds. Today, however, is Easter weekend, and IINM, schools are off everywhere.

Any suggestions? (My location is Lakewood, willing to drive up to an hour, kids are all under 10)

For young kids I find that Chuck E Cheese is enough excitement for them. I just left and it was only now starting to get pretty full.
