I said a cheap rental, I have found from hertz SA for $29 a day and its worth it if I'm trying to get a status with hertz  but again that's just me and for me I don't care the small hassle, but maybe not for family and someone that has status already

But, with a Y ticket to get past security + AmEx Plat, it seems that'd be the ticket in (sorry for the pun).
