Car=Free, thanks to a voucher issued at ORD for a very rude CSR.

Its usually so hard to get the Israeli rentals to honour a US voucher.

Point taken!  It'll be a fun trip.....but just seems to pedestrian compared with Dan's sophisticated and value-packed itinerary....

I left out LGA-FLL on 12/6 for the day...Delta, $199 R/T in coach (usually gets upgraded a few days before within the Gold window).

Going to be in LA 1/6-1/12

Still need hotel and car.

Flight is actually LGA-ORD on 1/5 (after the fast), ORD-SNA 1/6 morning. Gonna stay at a cat. 2 spg hotel near ORD with cash and points.
Return flight is direct LAX-JFK.

Total: 60k Avios points + $15 in 9/11 fees.
