The fact that we see the Israeli rabbonim in the news with corona, and not a single American Rosh Yeshiva or rav (even though they all have omicron too) highlights the stark difference between countries' approach to covid.

Its the stark difference in American vs. Israeli frum media and culture.

Its the stark difference in American vs. Israeli frum media and culture.

Since the beginning of Covid you have seen every RY/Rebbe in Israel in a capsule, protected, everyone around them with a mask (while they are not wearing), and they have all said to take the vax
vs in the US (At least with the Chassidish rebbes) none have been in a capsule, none have rules that you need to wear a mask around them, none have said anything on the vax (not for nor against).

Generally the heimish crowds in the NYC metro region gave up on covid right away and started living a normal life. While the media did a segment how the Amish beat covid like this, they are not doing it on the Jewish people
