Fwiw, when covid was in my home/office, I tested negative despite extremely minor/no symptoms. While there was no testing in March 2020, when again, I had minor symptoms, I tested negative for antibodies in Sep 2020.
Long-Covid may cause a loss of sense of sarcasm.

@Yehuda57 please keep social distancing!

@Yehuda57 please keep social distancing!

But I've been repeatedly told I need to get out more?!

In all seriousness, you have nothing to worry about, I've been socially distancing all my life

I could tell you were lying because you already posted a scientific study of how many Walmart shoppers were masked
LOL.  When I wrote that, I wondered if anyone would remember.

When the case rate started to go down here, I began going out for food shopping.  I still do some large online Walmart orders, but intersperse those with smaller shopping trips, early in the morning, with a mask.  Haven't replicated the study, but I'd estimate 25-50% of people in this Walmart still wear masks.  Also occasional trips to the kosher store, where masks are fewer but people are also fewer.

We've had trips to medical offices and have had health workers at home, but with the doors and windows open and the overhead fans on.

Basically I follow Fauci's description of what he himself does, which was to avoid all non-required social gatherings.  I've been even better than him in being able to minimize my visits to the White House.

Shul? Not at all since Purim 2020, thanks to DDF, where I learned that many people feel entitled to Shul On Demand with no concern for their own infectiousness or the vulnerability of others. We've had outdoor shofar blowing and megilla reading, and for the rest, I just bask in the sunshine as if I were in the Maldives, with no shul in the vicinity.

We do have visitors, and entertain them outdoors (Florida weather).  Nobody comes inside, except for the occasional relative who rolls their eyes and acts like I'm kidding when I suggest they just go behind that palm tree.

So that's what I've done to avoid covid, so far.

That's the issue. He wants to let live, but she refuses.

:D Still in the running.  But having company for Pesach, so we'll see...
Wait. You told them to go behind the palm tree, and they thought they were invited for Pesach? :o

15. You've already disapproved of several posts of mine, but I'm choosing to not dislike you in return.  "Not dislike" has two negatives, making a positive; ergo, a Like.

:-[ You're right, there were a few people who were here indoors, but always with doors and windows open and overhead fans on.

The point is that I have no superimmunity, just a greater ability than others to avoid infected people.

I have thought about this, that two years of avoiding covid, flu, and all colds may have been advantageous in the (relatively) short term, but not necessarily in the (iyh) longer term.

Just wondering, why do all of these people feel the need to advertise that they're positive (followed by I'm vaccinated, boosted, working from home.........). Who cares? Do they announce every time they go on vacation? Get a headache? Go to the bathroom and pass some gas? Am I alone here? Chances are many/most people we all know are going to be positive at some point. Are people really keeping track who is positive, how many vaccines they got, their symptoms, if they're working from home, etc?
