Once per bureau per year when pulling directly from the bureau. When pulling via services that monitor it, such as CreditKarma and IdentityMonitor, you can pull as often as those platforms allow (including using more than one).

You're also entitled for a copy for every hard-pull (when you're rejected) from the bureau that was pulled, you must request it within 30 days or something.

i use creditkarma. i never knew  that you can't  look at it every few days, where does it say, on there web site?

creditkarma allows you to pull every day i believe. how did you infer from what asherO said that you can't?

+1

@Gevaldig, the words you bolded from my post mean that for CK you can pull daily, for IM monthly, and for each service according to what they allow.

Using more than one means that you can have IM and pull monthly and CK and pull daily (including pulling via both services on the same day). I said more than one (service), not more than once (daily, per service).

Under FCRA, It's 60 days after the denial

Whenever they take some detrimental action due to your report. That includes getting rejected, not getting the best rates or credit lines getting cut. I'm sure there are more examples too. If you get rejected and then push it through recon you still should be able to get it.

The credit bureau has no idea if u were rejected or approved. As long as there is a recent pull you're able to get a free copy.
(Obviously 30 days later when the account shows up on the report they will find oit hat u were approved. )

from experian.com
Quote from: experian
Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, you may be entitled to receive a free copy of your personal credit report if you have been notified within the last 60 days that you were declined credit, employment, insurance or rental housing opportunity or if adverse action has been taken against you, based on information from Experian, or if you received a notice that the terms of credit offered to you may be less favorable than the terms offered to consumers who have better credit histories.

also IME in order to get the free report you have to provide a number that is given on your rejection letter. Although I never did try after an instant approval

If u don't want to wait for the denial letter,   just call the bank and ask.

The only number that comes on the deniail letter is a reference number that pertains to the bank, it has nothing to do with the bureau.

Officially you aren't entitled to a free a copy unless u were denied,  but like I said, they won't be able to tell if u were approved or not until the account shows up on your report which usually takes some time -  even in the case of instant approval.

EDIT: AAMOF when u call to get your report, its an automated system that takes care of it.
It asks for your ss and some other verification info - but not for any special "denial numbers".

Your old username still has all the consumer cards if you need to access those features.

I have Chase Sapphire  preffered , Hyatt and personal checking account.
Yesterday I did  a 2 browser and got instant MB Amex approval , "but will
Notify you " on the Ink Biz Bold app. If and when I get it, what account transfer
Ability will I loose if I link it to the other cards?

I want the 20 % bonus people have mentioned here when Bold is linked with
checking.
Thanks

Turns out the csr I had spoken was mistaken (!!!) and you can safely combine your accounts. Only issue you'll have is that you will may to re-enroll any bank accounts you had had set up for external transfers and the chase website is having issues with that right now.

In regards to the 20% you shouldn't need to have them under the same username to get the bonus. Their computers should automatically link them by your SS# for this.

I hope you realize your "2BM" will result in two pulls.

Being relatively new to this game , I remember asking and being told that one might not see the other

I  Did post last night, whether or not  to add the chase CO card as I was prolly getting the second pull anyway but did not get a reply in time to add that as a third card. I guess I wasted a pull?

One question that was asked and answered by Amex is net net worth to which  repled the highest bracket.  FWIW MY approval came back faster than opening a Google browser.

Do you ever think a company as large as Amex ever approves a card based only on its own
Real time Criterea.

I can't imagine they accessed any other data base, it was like they were waiting to ambush me

Draw your own conclusions
