Not millions tested, the capacity to test millions which I believe is accurate. I think I recently saw something about 4,000 kits being recently made available, each one can perform 100 tests for a total of 4,000,000.

Source? If we had test kits capable of performing 4m tests, we wouldn't have a shortage of testing literally anywhere in the country. Right now every single state is likely testing at max capacity. The criteria for testing is still too narrow because of lack of test kits.

Calls Press Conference for 3pm.

Market goes up noticing he doesn't expect to give bad news.

Doesn't show up until later, so market can't drop, or at least can't drop too much with circuit breakers. Quiet until Monday.

What about the timeline?

First test was created in Germany Jan 18th. As of March 2nd the CDC was still sending out contaminated test kits. It wasn't until 2/27 for outside labs to hit 100 tests/day, and not until 3/5 to hit 1k/day. Still less than 2k/day for outside labs. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/testing-in-us.html

I hope for the best but am a realist. Odds of Trump giving a speech that is accurate is slim to none. He still claims tests are available for everyone that needs/wants one.
so what do you say?

Private labs have the ability to test. Red tape is holding them back

Test are not available for everyone that wants them. I wasn't really paying attention to see if everything he said was accurate.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

it didn't remove but made the tape less adhesive.

We are now a full month into the US getting affected. There are under 2000 known cases. How can anyone complain about the job Trump is doing? There are more tourist that travel into the US then practically any other country and yet we have managed to keep numbers to .001% of the country. The graph in the US is a lot better then almost every other country.

2k confirmed cases was Friday. Yesterday it passed 3k. The only thing holding back the numbers is the lack of testing. There are still thousands (best case scenario) of unconfirmed cases.

If you don't test, there can't be positive cases.

Those who are not tested will likely never get tested due to the lack of symptoms. The world numbers also dont include most who have no symptoms.

False. Tens of thousands of people with symptoms are not getting tested.

Many with symptoms have not yet been tested. We'll have to see if that changes

In the great state of NJ, only 0.000015% of the population was tested. Or about 1/66,000 people.

Fever, coughing, & shortness of breath must all be extremely rare illnesses if that’s all the testing done past 2 months.
