When he moves it is fast and decisive. That is what is happening with red tape now and what happened with borders before. When he started with closing borders many were calling it racist and unamerican. Now the whole world is doing it.

Here is the problem. You ban flights form China and then for weeks going forward he does nothing except down play the situation and make reckless statements. That is like giving a test with ten questions. You get the first question right and the next nine wrong. Most would assume the correct answer was just a fluke.

To be fair , most people werent taking it seriously in the beginning. But absolutely a lot of precious time was lost.

I really think that he is sincere now, might have to do with the fact that he's surrounded by a very good group of people, and the whole team is not political.

Some of the team is 100% political and *ss kissers. The main one is the lady in dark black hair. All she does is nod to everything the president says and refuses to answer important questions like if we have enough ventilators. The two lead doctors are the only two that should every talk. They give it to us straight!!!

Thats true, but there were a lot of medical professionals that werent  taking it seriously either which is at least partly why he wasnt

Netanyahu took it seriously at the beginning. Is it clear that Israelis were taking it seriously the whole time?
Also keep in mind that everything he did try to do was met with resistance and vilification.
