Statistically it’s not accurate aside for children, but in overall numbers, 0.2% fatality rate for healthy young adults - despite being much higher - is not extremely concerning. But worth noting that the sickness is much harsher than the flu, and many more healthy people end up in the ICU, which obviously is a big problem.

I think that it is more important for them to understand that they may kill others even with mild symptoms. That is much more important to prevent spread than the other direction.

I have to issue with that but adding "it is just like the flu" is not needed. That will mean something totally different to them like it is no big deal.

Testing should be in addition to isolation, even if it comes out negative.

Chillax People!!!... This is not the time to politicize this situation or put blame to this or that.

My 2 cents:

I work in the hospital and we have rules and protocol in place to follow .
We are trained to deal with such out break. SO DONT PANIC!!!
There is a saying that we say in the medical field... " We can not Treat Stupid! "

If you think you are healthy , you do not feel flu like symptoms etc..
Then go about your life. Not all of us need to be tested. Only the sick
will! The most important thing is TO PROTECT TO SELF!!!
Follow the guide lines that you see and read in the news.
