Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

so does BA website show flights with stops both international and domestic routes? because when I searched domestic flights on AA.com  there was both nonstop and flights with stopvers on same route and date but when I searched  BA for same dates and routes only the nonstop showed on BA website
Doesn't matter. It just sucks at finding routes with stopovers.

Just use AA to search and then call on the phone to book

If there are no direct flights available from NYC to LAX.  What is the most efficient routing with a stop to get from NYC to LAX using the least avios.

IE lga - ord and the ord - lax.

No. You should be able to just go to the airport with both reservation and they can check it all the way through.

Easy enough to get them to waive it.

+1

Just tell them you weren't ale to book it online. (Once I had to ask the agent to speak to his supervisor before he agreed to waive it for me.)

Common occurrence with them. You should never really pay the phone fee.

AA just told me on the phone, that they can't add a lap child because it is a BA ticket, she mentioned they would not even be able to do it in the airport...

I am thinking, hoping this is B.S correct?

I added my AA number using Finair.com It also doesn't show me that I am for sure getting free bags, were there any changes recently, (haven't flown this in a while) or is it the same status quo as it always was?

Thanks a bunch guys.

Domestic.

Although to update my post, I ask the folks on twitter if they can do it for me and they complied, now gave them another 2 record locators, waiting for their response. I did not ask about the luggage though,

I Flew AA domestic on Avios less than a month ago and didn't have any issues adding a lap child at the airport. Got free checked in bags through my Citi AA executive as well.

I think for these cases we gotta use RAC Reps Are Clueless.

I'm getting so annoyed lately from clueless reps.

Since  BA and usair Are now same alliance, if I want to purchase 2 tickets on one of the airlines using Avios for one ticket and usair miles for the second ticket, what is the best way to do this to make sure both tickets are available on the same flight  and that we then get the two seats together.
