If im going tomorrow rt YYZ-LGA. Is there anyway to have the outbound changed to an earlier time if I upgrade to J? Only J is available at this point.

Just show up early. They may let you go standby for free (more likely if you're in j, but possible in economy as well). Worst case they'll charge you $75. I doubt the flights are full

Can't seem to find the nyc -berlin-tlv route online. Do I have to call them for it or its not available for the days I searched ?

You sure theyll change me? Just called AA and they said any change would need to be done via BA and that coming to the airport early wouldn't do anything as they can't touch this res.

Bla bla bla. At the airport you're a regular AA pax and they'll let you go standby (assuming there's a seat available)

Plus one, bro in law miss his flight on Thursday, called up on the way to the airport, tried twitter... Nothing. He got to the airport at 12:00 pM, I waited around just in case, he called me two min later, that they put him on a 12:25 pm flight no problem.

I know this is not your exact case but it can give some insight.

Search 1 leg at a time, and probably not available anyway.

I'm trying to fly Washington DC to yyz. Using avios. They don't have any direct flights to book. Does this make sense? It doesn't seem to be because of lack of availability. Since I can't find for a single date a direct flight.

Are you going from Baltimore? Driving from Baltimore to PHL is 1 hour 50 minutes and Baltimore to DCA is 1 hour 5 minutes.

I think they occasionally have direct DCA-YYZ but not too often

Edit: If you look on US Airways site for paid travel they have 3 flights daily on that route - for some reason these flights have very little award availability I guess.

try another airport near DC.
(They recently (after the merge) stopped traveling from FLL (near my daughter) only from PBI and MIA, non-stop to NYC)
