Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

JFK-HKG is 8,072 miles according to this, yet it prices out as a tier 8 award for flights 6,501-7,000 miles. How so?
there's some glitches in BA's award chart.

-BA.com often forgets to ask for the passengers date of birth, especially when you are booking a ticket for someone besides for the account holder. In this case it will seem like you have a valid ticket but you actually do not. I have heard from many people who were told at the airport that they did not have a ticket issued.
To avoid this you should always checkin on AA.com 24 hours before your flight so that you can print your boarding pass and know that you are good to go.  If there is an error you have to call BA to have your ticket properly issued.

I've been searching BA F for Months LHR-NYC. No saver availability,  now I searched BA.com for a revenue ticket to see how many F seats are left, most flights shows sold it, flight is in 8 days, does that mean I'm screwed?

Anyway to get BA to free up award space? Or to change to a flight with no award space available?

Does BA allow you to book a award ticket for a family member?
With each of my frequent flyer accounts, I've booked tickets for people other than myself.  My family and friends. BA, united, flying blue, ANA that I can think of right now.  No problem.
With BA, if you have a 'household account' you can only book for people listed or registered or something.
