Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

Looking to fly on pres day weekend and there are no avios flights available - does anyone have experience of saver award travel opening up as it gets closer to the holiday?
I've been watching that day for About 5 months nothing has ever been available doubt it's going to change

I would only expect it to come available a few days before if they have empty seats...

Does anyone know of a way to have avios post to your account prior to the end of the first billing cycle? I just got the card and need to use avios to book a flight but they haven't posted to my account yet. Am I SOL or is there a way around this? TIA.

Only SM-ed. No response as of yet. Should I call Chase or BA?

I SM-ed about my CSP card around the same time and got a response saying that I need to wait until end of billing cycle for my UR points to post. So I figured I'd get a similar response about the Avios.

I already paid 95% of the balance so maybe they'll have no issues with that. Thx for the tip.

if the balance needs to be paid, paying 95% would not help.

doesn't matter. I believe that spending the $ does not generate the points, rather paying the bill is what generates the points. And that happens when it is paid in full, CMIIW.

Even if you pay later, in general the points should post at statement close

<24 hrs from when you booked - Free cancellation (over the phone)
after 24 hrs until >24 hrs from flight - $55 or taxes, whichever is cheaper (online)
<24 hrs from flight - can't (officially) cancel
