Thanks. So in that case Saphire is prob a better card to use than say Amex spg/bgr? I normally like to use Amex but I think Saphire has better baggage coverages.

yes it will, even if you have only a platinum AA card u will get free bags on the AA flight

Anyone having trouble with ba site? Even when I toggle book with Avios I still get the error message about not having direct flights...

Double check that you are looking at 'Book With Avios'.

I see 4 saaver flights on AA. I see three of them on BA. Called in to BA and she sees none. I try to tell her that she is obviously noos seeing correctly, as BA.com shows three flights that day.
BLA...Bla...Bla... like talking to the wall. No... my supervisor has the same system as me and cant create seats...

What do you tell the rep in this case. I mean is there a way to steer them in the right direction, like a specific place to direct them to look? Or is it hopeless?

They say if you keep calling, you might get through to someone who can help. I had a similar issue 2 weeks ago and called every day till I just gave up.

Correct. I find more and more that people here (not accusing you, Ergel, just in general) like to say HUCA or PUTPAC. Sure, that does help many times. But other times, you honestly can just be the anomaly that has a case a rep can't fix. Sorry it wasn't a helpful answer username.

Any drawbacks in making a household account? As of now my wife is the only one earning Avios on her account because of her Chase BA card, but I plan on applying for it soon. Is there any reason that I shouldn't make a household account for the points so that they are combined?
