Yup if you see on AA and not on BA you will have to PUTPAC and get them to waive the phone fee because you cant book it online.

+1 but what a pain in the neck it is to call BA get ready to be on hold

why wont they just change this feature?

piecing together 2 flights. first one lands dca at 1040, second one leaves at 12. since they are separate reservations if the first one gets delayed for some reason will l have any issues getting my second flight rebooked?

Read up 5-6 posts. If you dont see it on BA.com, call in and have them book it together for you.
Although calling in can be a pain...

As to your question, its probably ymmv.

Anyone having trouble with booking Avios today.

1. There seems to be no availability anywhere.
2. The phone system they don't hear me when I call them, I tried calling from three different phones.

Same here.

ETE: when searching a new flight i keep getting errors, but if you go to the home page, and click recent searches, it works fine. From there you can modify your search, keep in mind that you should enter the dates a DD/MM/YYYY.

Mention it on the call please. I do every single time, fill out surveys, tweet them, etc. Doing my part...

Seems to be an issue on AA end. Check AA.com and there isnt any economy saver awards for CLE-NYC route. Hope they fix it soon.

AA showing availability for 4 seats and on Avios everything is showing not available

That makes ZERO sense. If it's showing saavor on AA site then obviously they are releasing availability, and it's just another ordinary day for the non working BA site!

definitely not a BA problem all flights available on AA or on BA,

it just that on many routes i couldn't find any AA saver availabilty (unlike us airways are available) and that's why does aren't on BA

Use it to your advantage. The other day I saw availability on Saaver level, but it did not show on BA.com. So I called them up. She looked for me and saw no availability at all. I knew that BA showed availability, just the exact flight i wanted was not showing. Rather than tell her that she was doing something wrong, I asked her to check the next day instead. Nothing. OK, check the following day. Nothing. I went through a bunch of days and she kept finding nothing. I explained that something must be wrong, as there is always availability on this flight. After a few holds, she booked me on the flight that was showing on AA, with a $43.00 or something like that tax& surcharge. Took a few more holds for her to get it down to $5.60. The whole time i was nervous that by fighting over the $40, I was going to loose my flight, but in the end it all worked out!
