The power of HUCA! Long story short after a couple of wildly unsuccessful attempts to send UR's from my fathers sapphire account to my sapphire preferred, i got a rep to do it. (The 1st couple of reps mechanically repeated "you can only send from your account to spouse or domestic partner"). Then she even transferred it from my account to my fathers BA account. So this was a way of bypassing the restriction of sending UR's from a non-preferred account to a non-spouse account. And also sending from my UR account to a different BA account!

Once i book a flight with those miles is there still something they can do? It should be totally out of chase UR's department..?

They can shut you down, forget about the points. That said, you'd have more of a leg to stand on by transferring through a rep than otherwise.

Hard to believe they can shut me down for something the rep did!

What do you do when a rep tells you that she sees availability dus-tlv however its "fake availability"? Would a different rep be able to help or is it true?

You mean aside from the fact that they have you recorded on multiple calls being told it was against the rules but after X calls you got someone to do it?

Do they seriously dig up these phone records?? That's nuts! The total points i was dealing with was only 16K so i doubt they would bother. The bigger problem is that i cant even book the flight i want

I had a flight booked with avios which i changed within 24hrs of the flight. Now that the flight is more than 24hrs away, will i be able to cancel it now and get the miles back?
