BA Avios question(s)

Actually, I found the return but not the outbound. AA is 50,000 while Avios would be 30,000. One more question. If I'm a AA Lifetime Gold member, will I get free luggage on the American flights I take through Avios (BA)?

yes you do if you put your aa number on the reservation

I can't go business. Too many miles. 30,000 is for two coach tickets NY to Florida. I'd love to if I could

I think you can now do it on AA's site, just enter your BA confirmation number.

I had that issue this morning. Used RJ instead. RJ came up in french for me even though i clicked US - English. Didnt try AA.

Tried RJ as well; you can switch to English top right of the page. Asks for passport info, even on us domestic. More of a process (and didn't have it on my at the time), but I can just do that.

#1. Don't panic.
#2. Bring proof that the infant is under 2 (birth certificate ect) and when you check in, just ask the agent to add the lap child, and it will be free.

Had a baby a few weeks ago, but still no SSN or Birth Certificate.  Wife would like to fly on Avios this week but nervous she won't be able to take baby without documentation.

Any validity to her concerns?

She can take the hospital's certificate of birth with her if she wants. I NEVER had to show ID flying domestic for kids and infants.

Thanks!  Another q: the Finnair trick doesn't seem to be working.  When I go to update details, I get an error page.  Two days in a row.  Any other way to add AA# other than through RJ (which requires more info)?

Try AA.com directly, if it doesn't work, PUTPAC AA
