Its been a few days still dont see, just hung up with rep sees points pending and "there is nothing he can do to expedite them, they can take up to 10 business days..."

Update: today I saw that my paid "award" flight earned AA miles, was booked in Y! My award rebate, lol.

I booked my wife and I on an AA flight using avios, but was only able to book one of us originally as there was only one seat available and then I booked the other a few days later when another seat opened up.
I switched the FF# to my AA through finnair. Is there anyway to combine the two of us on to one reservation?

Conflicting information regarding cancelling a flight:
AA flight booked with BA Avios.

Dans post says they will charge lesser of $55 or actual taxes paid (short flight so just a few dollars)
CSR (don't throw tomatoes please) insists that $55 is the minimum (more than the ticket cost!)

Has anything changed since Dan wrote up that post or is this just another case of a dumb...

NOT TRUE!

if cancelling a BA ticket (AA Metal) as long as its not within 24 hours of the flight, you will receive all the miles and just lose the taxes

if they tell u something different, HUCA

if 24 hours have passed since you booked, you can cancell it online.

Just cancel it online.

I bought an avios award ticket but misspelled the last name (added an "e" accidentally) of the colleague I am flying with. Will we have issues checking in/ with tsa?

What should we do? We are still within 24 hrs.

I spoke to the avios desk after I realized what I did. The issue is the ticket is for 6 of us. If I cancel there won't be any tickets for the person I cancel because we got all the avios tickets for this flight.

Nope. That's why people book Avios flights on OWs.
