Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.


NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

I checked JFK to YUL and LGA to YUL and the 3 bags do not come up. When you check YYZ to JFK or JFK to YYZ the 3 bag allowance shows up. I thought that maybe it is related to TAM flying the route but then shouldn't it be two bags?

I booked my mom on a AA flight from DTW-LGA with avios, the flight was cancelled due to weather, I called AA to rebook on a nonstop (they had automatically routed her through ORD) and was told it would cost an extra $118 to book on a nonstop, 'because this is a BA award booking'.

Has this happened to anyone before? any advice (other then HUCA)?
