Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.


NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

Officially you don't get any miles back. I've gotten them redeposited a few times by calling though.

Ya think we'll get rates anywhere near what we had about 18 months ago with BA business with AARP?

Not even close. Its still $2k plus with AARP and 45k Avios with no bonus on the back end.

On BA I found Air Berlin TLV to NYC booking with Avios. After the payment page. I get a "sorry we're unable to complete your transaction" message. I called BA and they say they don't see availability on the BER to NYC segment, and can't book it for me. They said, it appears on the website because it probably didn't refresh their availability yet. But for 4 days now the BA website still shows availability, but I still can't complete the transaction.
Anybody have this experience?
Any chance that HUCA would work, if they're not able to see availability on their system?

Are you trying to book for more than 1 person?  Maybe there's 2 seats and you're trying to book 3.  Then they won't give you any.
