Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

Call.
= Waiting on hold for an hour just to find out that after an hour the call is automatically being disconnected.

Yesterday, I saw 7 seats available on YUL-LGA Feb 3 routes. Today they are gone. It seems like once its 7 days before departure they eliminate AA flights. any work around this?

No, it's AA's doing.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Having trouble updating FFN on finnair and RJ, as they want all sort of passport data. Any better options?

Never tried it for local flights. You can try this one though.

I think what you're trying to ask is: "what's the best way to find flights operated by AA that are bookable with Avios" Is that correct?

Last time I used the aa site but I do not see them listing saaver awards anywhere anymore not sure what I am doing wrong…

AA has made a lot of changes to the way you redeem points, it's no longer as simple as a ticket being either MileSAAver versus whatever they used to call the rule-buster awards

If an AA flight shows as available for a mileage booking on AlaskaAir.com, does that mean it should also be available for Avios booking (at least by phone)?

TIA!

Yes

Note that things are changing on March 1st. Alaska will start displaying dynamic prices for AA awards, so therefore it will no longer be safe to assume that an AA flight showing as available for a mileage booking on AlaskaAir.com will also be available to Avios

Just booked a reward on AA.
Unable to add flight to my AA account with the record locator given to me upon booking. I was under impression that same locator can be input on AA and it will spit out the AA locator.
Any tips?

Didn’t work.
What did work was going to finnair.com and typing in my aadvantage number. Then it popped up

Finnair didn't work for me last month. I don't remember how I got it, but Finnair wasn't the source. I think I got it on Iberia, but I'm not sure.

Royal Jordanian perhaps? I have a fuzzy memory from many years ago that RJ worked for this purpose.
