BA Avios question(s)

I am trying to transfer avios from Iberia to BA and my name is not the same - one has a middle name and my BA does not. So i called them up to add my middle name and they want a copy of my passport - did anyone ever have this problem? Not really excited about sending a copy of my passport since it will probably end up in India or New Deli.

how would I book NYC to PTY. I see availability on AA but cant get it on BA. and is it even worth it? how many avios would it be round trip?

The correct method is to ERASE ba ffn on ba.com

How about deleting your middle name from Iberia

When you are booking a flight, at "checkout" when you are putting in your information like name...etc one of the options will be FFN by default it puts in your BA number, just highlight it and clear it b4 you book the ticket

That method only works if you're booking it online. Not if you booked it over the phone.

Used to never work but last week I put in the BA reservation # into AA.com and it pulled up my res.

the non stops would show up on the website, the stops would have to be booked on the phone as BA charges per segment

They charge 9.k x 2 for flight with stop?
