Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

Five of us will travel BOS-DUB via EI in August, all booked with BA Avios.

I have 4 of us booked on the 9pm flight and 1 of us on the 6pm. We can live with this separation, but would prefer to fly together if it can be done without additional cost.

Now, I see that there appears to be availability for 4 pax on the 6pm flight, at least based on the UA website.

I can call BA and ask them to change the 4 pax to the 6pm flight, but I know that they will want a change fee of $55 per person, which I'm not prepared to do.

Any advice on how to get them to make the change without the fee? (There does not appear to be award space available on the 9pm flight.)
Can't you just cancel and only forfeit $5.6?

Cancel and rebook. What are the cancellation fees. And you may lose the return that way, unless each leg booked separately.
That's what I once thought.
But for international flights, wouldn't you forfeit the taxes, which in this case, were almost $55 (same as the change fee)?
I have the return booked separately, so not worried about that.
But I do worry about cancelling and then having available space disappear while on the phone with the rep. Much rather have them make the change without cancelling. Call me paranoid.

i had 2 Avios tickets booked. ended up cancelling online over a week ago (it was 4-5 days before the actual flight), and i still dont see the points back in my account. is this unusual?

dont want to call as i dont want to be charged the full cancellation fees (the taxes were only about $15).

yes, the taxes or $55, whichever is less. So if there are high taxes, no point in cancelling (and no, you're not paranoid). Was there any changes in the flight times since you booked? Maybe use that as leverage to change for free.

Unfortunately, no. Schedule has been rock solid exactly as before. I will call but not getting my hopes up.

I am 150 ba avios points short of a tcket I want to purchase immediately.  I can purchase 1000 points for 53 dollars can get 150 points by shopping on their site but that doesnt post for a while or can buy with points and cash but that is 75 dollars out of pocket.  Any other options that I can use for immediately getting 150 points.  I no longer have their credit card

Do you have any UR? Those can be transferred instantly in increments of 1000 at 1:1.

Is it just me, or is IB site a PITA? Claims no flights between NYC and PIT.

ETA: Getting the same error for ORD-PIT. Could it be AA flights don't show on IB.com?
