Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

Few questions about booking with Avios to Israel, apologies if these questions  have been covered already:
1-Is it possible to fly on BA from nyc/phl to TLV with air berlin or non-fuel charge partners with only one stop? It seems all air berlin flights are to DUS and all out bound flights to Israel are Munich or TXL?
2-How much are the fuel charges with Iberean Avios on either AA or BA for one way NYC-TLV?
thanks

1- Yes, you need to find a AB flight from NYC to TXL.
2 - A lot with BA (you need to convert to IB avios to save) a little with AA. Check a revenue fare on ITA matrix for exact amount

1- I guess they are hard to come by, does phl fly non stop to to TXL? Is there a way to search on AA's award calendar (or any other for that matter) for only AB?
2- So where does IB Avios save on the fuel charges? on AA or BA?

1A: No \
1B: not officially, but if you search JFK (or ORD)-TXL and toggle nonstop only, you'll only see AB flights as neither AA nor any other partner flies that route nonstop.

2- On IB, not on BA and I don't think they save on AA either

Found the flight that I need on AA.com and it has sAAver availability but not showing up on BA.com. Called BA and they're claiming that there are no seats available on that flight and that they can't book it. HUCA?

ETA: HUCA did the trick.
Happened to me numerous times over the summer. 90% of the time I had to HUCA

Iberia flies to MAD and BCN
BA to London
Finnair to HEL
AB to TXL
Niki to VIE

Thats all i could think of off the top of my head. Maybe RJ with a stop in AMM flies to other countries.
Fair warning - Any PMs sent in response to forum posts are fair game for ridicule in public.

Instead of transferring, you can use avios to book on many airlines with no YQ.

I am doing some preliminary research for a vacation next year to Italy (from BWI area) and have determined that I need to do at least two legs (BWI - [random airport] - LHR) and (LHR - [random Italian airport). As far as LHR-VCE, we'll say, I have been looking at BA and their pricing makes no sense to me.

(For economy) I can use 6500 Avios and pay $55.71, or I can pay 104 pounds ($85)...am I missing something?
