Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

Maybe ur right- but-- when you use miles from a household acct for anyone on the household acct -- don't they deduct a proportional amount from "everyone" and that constitutes activity -- this what I remember

my wife has very small amnt miles - i have very large -- when i book a ticket they deduct from "our" accts in proportion to miles "each"has
Possibly, and if it works as you say then it should certainly help. but earning in one certainly doesn't help for the others.

Got my Reserve card today and would like to close my Chase BA card as I no longer need it. Chase said I would lose my Avios points. Any idea what I can do with only 5k BA points?  used all the others on trip and that whats left.

Thank!

you can't do much with it. But you won't lose it. Once it's in your account chase cannot take it away

British Airways (avios) has nothing to do with chase other then giving you a ba card from chase, your online account with british airways will remain open for 36mnths without any activity. (to extend you need to transfer buy or use miles...)

any activity works to keep BA points alive.  Even booking  a ticket with points - even if you end up cancelling the ticket. (at a cost of $5.60)

What's the latest I can cancel a BA award ticket (AA domestic) and get a full refund minus the taxes? Does it have to be 24 hours before the flight?

Yes
I have a flight at 7:50am on this Tuesday. I'm hoping to find availability on a later flight.
You're saying that I'll need to find the availability and book before 7:50am on Monday in order to cancel my existing booking for a refund of all miles?

Is it a "thing" that AA flights booked with BA Avios can't check in online or am I just unlucky?
