Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

The one in the AM is not direct, BA could book that as two flights, not one.If you wanted the 6 PM flight, try calling the BA Singapore office to book
Thank You

There is essentially no availability from NYC to Miami or FLL in August. Am I missing something?

Thanks

Right. AA rewards availability border on a scam and is is shameful that the regulators allow it.

I had to miss an AA avios ewr flight within a few hours of flight, rebooked LGA a few hours later, any chance of getting the 7500 avios refunded ? in hindsight I should have paid taxi to EWR and begged a new flight thus saving 7500 points

Had similar story, denied boarding due to document issues, took a long time to find an agent in the airport to rebook me on a later flight, but got it done in the end.

I would ask them "what if I would've had a flat tire?"
That should do the trick, no?

My wife's mileage account is close to expiring. Can I simply add a small amount of miles to BA Avios from Chase or Amex or do I actually have to go the route of booking an award ticket and then cancelling?

From Dans post:

Miles expiration:
Avios never expire as long as you earn or redeem a single mile every 36 months.
Closing a credit card will not affect your Avios account.
Transferring points from AMEX, Chase, or Starwood will extend the life of all of your points for 36 months.
If your miles are expiring just book a domestic one-way flight for 4.5K Avios plus $5.60, wait 24 hours, and cancel the award.  You’ll get back your Avios and will have effectively paid $5.60 to extend the life of all of your Avios.

I missed an avios flight on AA once, was at airport late, was rebooked free and earned 1600 miles for flying.

The EWR flight I missed, I was in woodmere and supposed to get a ride, friend changed plans, in reality the taxi to EWR would have gotten me there late but like I said, hindsight on those 7500 avios and maybe 1k AA miles would have been worth the $50 taxi.

p.s. the LGA flight I got? uber was crazy expensive because LGA had insane traffic that week

Beginner questions:
Is it ok to book from my Avios account for a friend?
Any issues?
Cancellation fee?
I'm getting a NYC-LHR flight Non-stop for 26K miles +$460. Is that a good deal? (as opposed to $3K on AA and $1500 on Delta)

No issues to book for a friend.
Cancellation is in the first link in the wiki.
The cost to cancel an award is the lessor of taxes paid or $55.

No Idea if the price is the best or not, but I would choose the points + cash over the delta or AA cash fare, if those were the only choices.
What are the AA and Delta reward tickets going for?

Delta is Insider special: 150,000 MR, (I have Biz Plat, but 50% back would be 75k, so in essence same price, just pain to wait for points to return to account...)
