Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

I have not used Avios in a long time.  Is it better to book American flights directly with Amex MR points or to transfer to Avios and book through British Airways?  It seems as if it will be the same amount of points, but I would like the ability to cancel.
Depends on how much the flights cost. But with BA you can cancel up to 24 hours before your flight and just lose the taxes.

That's what I'm asking, can I cancel by booking it any other way, or is BA the only option?  Don't think I'm getting a great value either way.  Just want to be able to cancel.

For that cheap ba would be your best option.

I booked a premium economy flight with British Airways from TLV -> EWR using Avios miles. I wanted to book Business, but it was unavailable to book that way. Is there a way to upgrade the ticket to business class using mileage at a later point (preferably well before the flight, but in a pinch at the airport)? What is the process to do this?

What is the best way to use BA avios with the most benefits for an Iberia/BA flight?  Do I book through BA or through Iberia?

Price it out and see who offers you the better rate, points and YQ.

I need to book a ticket using avios from ORD to either LGA or JFK for Thursday or Friday morning but I don’t see any availability. Is there a better chance to find a flight by calling BA or will they just tell me the same thing I see online?

If its available on AA as a Saver and you dont see it on BA then you must call BA.

I want to book flights using Avios for November.  If we end up not wanting to go, what is their cancellation policy? Is it different if we buy the tickets now because of COVID-19?

someone cmiiw- if for domestic, you can cancel as long as it is more than 24 hours before the flight. Only lose the 5.60 taxes.
Int'l, also before 24 hours to flight, lose $55 or full amount of taxes, whichever is less.
Always use an Amex, you'll thank me one day.

Then I believe it'll cost you $55, as the taxes/fees are more than that from YYZ-MIA.

I was looking for a flight earlier today on BA today, NYC-LHR. When I checked earlier in the afternoon it was 40,000 +$285, but, when I looked again a few minutes ago, it was +$634. The same flights, both on BA metal. Anyone know what is going on? Obviously $285 is much more palatable.

I noticed a lot of times that the BA website is a bit messed up sometimes it says a higher price of taxes when you search and then when you confirm it goes down

If I want to generate activity on my BA account (miles expiring in a couple of months) what is the method with booking and cancelling a flight? Do I book any flight using points? Does it need to be on BA metal as opposed to AA? when do I cancel? Does it need to be cancelled within 24 hours? Or specifically past 24 hours? Will the miles be redeposited automatically without a fee? Will I only lose the taxes? Is the cheapest amount of taxes to pay $5.60?

Didn't wanna open a new thread, since it officially says it's for Spain residents only.
50% off Iberia bookings.

But here is the link https://www.iberia.com/es/news-updates/50-percent-discount-with-Avios/
