Took advantage of the Qatar Avios to BA transfer promotion last month and signed up 5 family members for 2,500 QMiles, then converted to Avois, transferred them to BA and created a household sharing account. Received the following email from BA this week:
Dear XXX,
In line with most major companies operating a financial awards and incentive scheme, we constantly review transactions on our Executive Club database to ensure compliance with the scheme's Terms and Conditions and to protect our Members.
This process highlighted some anomalies with your account, so for your protection we have locked your account while we investigate.
You can still book flights without logging into your account and you are still able to use Manage My Booking for any bookings you already have.
We will be in touch with you again shortly - normally within two weeks. In the meantime, thank you for your continued patience.
Regards,
British Airways Executive Club
I entered all real information for real family members. No violation of terms AFAIK. All six accounts are locked and I cannot use Avios to book a flight. I tried reaching out to BA on social media and through their chat but I have not received any response. Anyone else get this email? Any success getting BA to unlock your account? Suggestions on how to proceed?
