AA doesn't release to BA, it's the same as on AA.com in most cases.

i would imagine the opposite

once they have filled their awards quota they wont release anymore

BA told me on the phone that their availability is not always the same as AA's lower tier (though every time I look, it is always the same)

FYI
The BA website very frequently changes availability...you may have to "skip ahead 7 days" then "skip back" but I am travelling to LGA over labor day and several times a week availability in various flights changed...keep checking

I read somewhere recently that BA only lets changes be made to a household account every 6 months. is this true? does anyone have experience with this?
From BA.com 16.1.7Once a Household Account is established, new member(s) may not be added or existing member(s) removed more than once every six months. A Household Account may not be dissolved or re-established more than once every six months.

I booked LGA-CLE on BA the other day and it showed 7 award tickets available for every flight on both days I needed. I just went to see if I can add another person to my itinerary and both flights I had chosen still show 7 award tickets available.

(No question, just found it interesting.)

i need to fly to detriot from new york on fri i wanted to use 4500 ba points but there is no availability i was wondering is there any way i can do anything to use my ba points?

Nothing avail on AA, there is avail tomorrow at 10 something in the morning, if u could go then.

I'm looking to book a flight from JFK-LAX using BA Avios. There are only middle seats and preferred seats available. If I book the ticket with Avios, will I be able to pay to upgrade to preferred seats? What is the cost?

You should be able to book it all with ur avios, as prem economy.

BA advised me that one cannot book AA premium economy using avios. I booked a regular economy reservation and called AA who told me that I can't even pay for preferred seats if I wanted to.

Thoughts?
