I want to book tickets for Pesach from NYC to YYZ (2 adults and 1 infant would be 18900+$133). But not 100% sure we are going. But at $40/person it doesnt make sense to book if we might have to cancel.....

From the major FF programs yes, although low cost like southwest could be good too from UR. If u get a hand on SPG points than LAN is above all others.

i also was wondering. i cancelled a few times after 24 hours of booking and got back points pretty quickly and refund of taxes. no other charges

Wait it out another few months, short-haul awards usually stick around for a while.

If I book 2 separate tickets with BA on AA, a flight from MSP-ORD, and connecting to ORD-BDL (1:30 minute connection), will AA check my luggage straight through?

BA told me I can cancel up to 24 before the flight and they will refund the mileage but not the taxes. I guess the taxes is like the cancellation fee thats probably why it showed up that way on the CC

Im assuming you thought i meant within 24 hours of my flight but i meant within 24 hours of reservation which I guess is a kol shicain that it you get it back

How long is the transfer time from MR to BA? I have someone who needs a ticket booked ASAP (I have my own account which I can use worst case) but he has MR.

usually instantly. (u have to log out and in again of BA)
but recently it took longer for me and it can take up to 24 hours
