Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

They don't always show everything. You need to PUTPAC.

That is very weird.

EF and BA both show 1 seat available on AA4444, but AA is returning 2 seats.

Maybe ask in the EF thread?

Still same exact thing, don't know why i thought maybe it would update itself to show the real availability. Am i able to book on ba a different flight for that day, and then call up aa and switch it for free to the one i want, cuz they have it open?

Is there a way to book a domestic AA flight with a connection using Avios?

Scenario: LGA-ORD Thurs-Sun, the only directs are in the AM, we want evening flights. AA.com shows itineraries with connections, but short of booking 2 legs on BA.com (defeats the purpose of using Avios for domestic flights), I can't see how to book a flight with a connection using Avios.

(Yes I searched... a lot.)

What's the difference between booking it as 2 flights?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Try over the phone and ask them to waive the fee.

Got the same response...

If I can find AA award availability on AA.com, shouldn't I also see it on BA.com? Must it be the 12500-level seats?

I have a 3:59PM flight from YYZ - LGA, is it possible (what are the chances) I could go standby on the 11AM to JFK?
There was a 11:20am and 1:10pm flight to JFK. So i tried to go stanby at checkin, no go. Tried at the club, no go. Then went to the gate and the 11:20 flight was delayed and boom GA put me on stand by and right when they started boarding I went to GA and got my ticket issued.

Looking for advice how to go about booking a flight from NYC to Miami next month using Avios. I saw someone previously mention being able to get RT for 15k points.  How is that possible, I only see mostly 25K one way with best case being 12.5K via AA.com.  Travel dates 3/28-3/31

...or should I use UR point

Any help greatly appreciated!!!

Sorry, I'm new to this and don't understand what you mean by direct.  Do I call up BA and book through them and it will come out to 15K RT? (If I can find an award flight on those dates)

Right so it has to be a direct flight but when I go to AA.com and search for an AA advantage Reward / Milessaver flight, I see 12.5K and 25K points option but just one way not RT.  I guess I just dont understand how to use the Avios points to get anything close to 15K RT from NY to Fl

From the becoming: you are booking an aa flight but using ba miles. As such aa's millage requirements are not relevant. You need to find direct saaver availability on aa (they will show 12.5k each way). Then go to ba.com to book for 15k RT
